In line with the vision of Atmanirbhar Bharat, Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal launched the One District One Product (ODOP) initiative to drive economic growth and create employment opportunities across India. This initiative focuses on harnessing the unique strengths of each district by identifying products with high export potential. By promoting locally made goods on both national and international platforms, ODOP aims to boost manufacturing, enhance skill development, and strengthen supply chains, ultimately contributing to India’s self-reliance and economic expansion.

The primary objective of ODOP is to transform every district into an export hub by leveraging its distinct products and industries. This approach not only enhances India’s global trade presence but also empowers small-scale manufacturers, artisans, and farmers by providing them with better market access and support. Through government assistance, infrastructure development, and financial aid, ODOP fosters sustainable growth, improves competitiveness, and promotes the rich diversity of Indian products in global markets.
